On July 4th 1878,
the lamp of Cape St. Francis lighthouse was lit for the first time. Since that day it has sent forth its beam of light to guide mariners along a stretch of coast that has claimed numerous shipwrecks.

John Booysen founded "Kaap St Francis" as a seaside fishing resort in the 1950's.
Mr Bennette brought the original Good Waves into being as a fishing cottage. The original cottage has been incorporated into the living space of the Good Waves of today.
We gave Good Waves a complete makeover.
The experience and inputs of a fantastic professional team ensured that the look and feel of Good Waves, which so many people came to enjoy and appreciate over the years, was retained in the best possible way.
The result speaks for itself.
